Hello, my name is Lauren Weddington and I lead praise and worship here at LifeWay Church. Our team’s purpose is to help you achieve what Romans 12:1–2 tells us about–how we can present ourselves as a living sacrifice in worship, so that we may be transformed in the process. In the finished work of Jesus, we have everything we could ever possibly need. Our goal is to help you enter His presence and, in the process, receive whatever you need in that moment. Our songs are carefully chosen to line up with scripture, songs that declare the goodness of God and renew our minds to His word. Our team works diligently to present songs that are pleasing to the ear, but most of all, we rely on the Holy Spirit to do something through us that we can’t do without Him. We lead you, our church family, in praise for our audience of One. We believe that we are changed for the better in praise and worship – where our faith is strengthened, and our soul, like good soil, is prepared to receive the seed of His word.
